Landtran Systems Inc. Expands portfolio with purchase of Valley Roadways Ltd.
October 1, 2007
EDMONTON—We are pleased to announce today, that our subsidiary company Continental Cartage Inc. (CCI) has completed the
acquisition of 100% of the shares of Valley Roadways Ltd.
Valley Roadways Ltd. is a full-load, flatdeck carrier based in Kamloops, B.C. Ed Pasemko started trucking in 1972, and after
15 years in the business, pioneered Valley Roadways in 1987. Through his guidance and leadership, Ed has built the company into
a very well respected and regionally focused deckload carrier. Ed is looking forward to retirement and to spending more time
traveling the continent in his motorhome.
We are thrilled to welcome to the Landtran team Mr. Byron Sample, Ms. Sharon Best and all of the Valley Roadways drivers,
mechanics and staff. Welcome aboard!
Through this acquisition, Continental Cartage Inc. will continue to build upon its regional capabilities to service the
flatdeck and super-b-train freight markets. CCI is now in its tenth year of operations and has grown from a base of zero to
become one of the largest providers of flatdeck services in Western Canada. With the addition of Valley Roadways, CCI will
gain an important foothold in the Thompson Valley.
Yours truly,
John K. Assman
President
